Five Officers Injured as Police Boat Strikes Westminster Bridge A collision between a Metropolitan Police marine policing unit boat and Westminster Bridge in central London has left five officers injured.
The incident occurred at 3:40 pm on Friday afternoon when the police boat was traveling at high speed, striking the bridge. Witnesses described hearing a loud bang and seeing officers being thrown into the water.
